Beatrice Moyo

Beatrice is a Partner at Mushoriwa Moyo, a boutique corporate and commercial law practice in Zimbabwe. Amongst several qualifications, she holds an LLM (Commercial Law) from the University of Cape Town and a LLB (Honours) from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

She has expertise in M&A, Securities and Corporate Law, as well as Banking and Finance Law. Beatrice has structured and successfully negotiated a wide range of multifaceted finance transactions. She has also advised several clients in capital raising and has acted as a legal advisor for various local and international clients, with her duties including, but not limited to, the conducting of legal due diligence for domestic and foreign investments, the drafting and review of the contracts, as well as legal advisory on various corporate issues and corporate governance matters. She sits as a non-executive director on several boards in Zimbabwe. Beatrice further has an interest in Intellectual Property Law.

She is an agent qualified to file locally and internationally in the Zimbabwe Industrial Property Office (ZIPO), and regionally in the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO).
