Managing Director

Sean heads Imara Corporate Finance. He has in excess of 20 years of experience in capital markets in the country, having worked for Imara on both the stockbroking and advisory sides of the business. He has considerable experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, having handled the largest transactions in this field in Zimbabwe, and has undertaken a number of successful capital raising projects locally and in the region. Sean has undertaken transactions with over half the ZSE listed corporates, including assignments with Barclays Bank, Cottco, Delta Corporation, Econet Wireless, Innscor Africa, Meikles Limited, Nampak, NMB, Old Mutual, PPC, SeedCo and TA Holdings.

Group Chief Finance Officer

Pam Jones is the Group Finance Director of Imara Capital Zimbabwe (Pvt) Limited and also serves as Chief Financial Officer of Imara Asset Management Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd. Prior to Joining Imara in 2006, Pam worked for Zimbabwe Financial Holdings Ltd and Syfrets Merchant Bank as the head of finance. She qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in 1990.

Tawanda Masose

Tawanda Masose

Executive Director

Tawanda has over ten years’ experience in corporate finance. Within the team he is responsible for all aspects of transaction processes in mergers, acquisitions & divestitures and equity capital markets. His key responsibilities including client relationship management, transaction structuring, pricing and regulator interface. He has worked on acquisitions, restructuring and equity capital markets transactions for clients that include Meikles Limited, Unifreight Africa Limited, National Foods Holdings Limited, TSL Limited, Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited, Transerv, TA Holdings Limited, Star Africa Corporation Limited, Nyangani Renewable Energy (Private) Limited, First Mutual Holdings Limited and Delta Corporation Limited. Tawanda graduated from Murdoch University in February 2006, with a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance and Banking. He joined Imara Corporate Finance in 2010 from KPMG Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe) Transactions and Restructuring team. At KPMG he worked primarily on valuations, commercial and financial due diligence engagements on behalf of acquiring companies. Tawanda has passed the first level of the CFA charter.

Danford T. Muungani

Danford T. Muungani

Company Secretary

Danford is the Group Company Secretary and Alternate Finance Director of Imara Capital Zimbabwe P/L. He commenced his career at the Zimbabwe Sugar Refinery’s subsidiary, Polyfilm Plastics as an accounts assistant in 2003. He joined Imara as the Group Accountant in 2004 and was appointed Group Finance manager and Group Company Secretary in 2007 before becoming Group Alternate Finance Director in 2010. From 2013 he held an additional role as the Imara Holdings Limited Chief Risk Officer. Danford is a chartered accountant with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (UK) (ACCA).
